Suite “La Cultura Siciliana”

“La Cultura Siciliana” is a spacious suite that offers more than 1150 square feet of living space complimented by a 440 square foot terrace from which guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the Aeolian Islands. The name of this suite derived from the names of its different rooms and spaces. Each space is named after notable and historically important Sicilian artists. The suite, located on the main floor of the villa, may be booked separately or together with Suite “Le Isole Eolie”. The piazza “Benvenuti”, entrance area, welcomes you and provides you and your guests easy access to this beautiful hillside villa and your suite.

The suite offers three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, providing ample space and privacy for you and your guests. In the large dining and living areas there is an open concept kitchen where you will find everything needed to prepare a delightful Mediterranean meal. In the living room a well-stocked library will inspire you to settle down with one of its many books – perhaps you’ll read on the spacious terrace or maybe in the shade of an olive tree in one of the gardens or even poolside. Central air conditioning and heating ensures the comfort of our guests throughout the year making this a year-round resort. Suite “La Cultura Siciliana” also offers a gas fireplace, its cozy ambience provides just the right place to unwind and or enjoy indoor and evening activities. Each space in the suite is name for a famous Sicilian artists. The artists include Luigi Pirandello (Bedroom 1), Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa (Living/Dining area), Elio Vittorini (Bedroom 3) and Giovanni Verga (Full Bathroom 1) as well as opera composer Vincenzo Bellini (Kitchen) and painters Renato Guttuso (Bedroom 2) and Antonello da Messina (Full Bathroom 2). The hallway “La bella con i sette veli” (The Beauty with the Seven Veils) is named after the Sicilian fairy tale of the same name. On the terrace you’ll find the Trinacria, the traditional symbol of Sicily.

The VILLA SICULA invites you and your guests to enjoy its varied facilities and amenities as well as the many other activities and attractions available on this diverse island. Within a short drive are the most beautiful and varying beaches, the center and shopping district of Capo d’Orlando as well as other sight worthy towns and villages. The VILLA SICULA is located within easy distance of local retail stores, fashion outlets, restaurants and other specialty stores.
